It is a marvelous destination for the outdoor-tourist – take a safari on horses, camels, elephants or even in jeeps, with the Aravalis - India's oldest mountain range. Junket your eyes on amazing sand-dunes, take the tiger trail, or just watch the birds in the wetlands. You can also treat yourself in the abundant heritage properties. Rajasthan has something for everyone – one just has to choose an activity desire to one's attitude.

The relics of Virat also speaks of the area being inhabited by the Pre-Aryan people of the oldest called Push Karara Nanya (modern Pushkar in Ajmer).
